How to pamper yourself in your own kitchen
We all know how difficult this period of our lives is these days, when our whole rhythm has changed and what we did easily in the past now seems almost impossible, but this cannot stop us from enjoying life and being creative even in our own homes.
So, we propose you three delicious recipes, which we prepare for our customers at New Era Hotel at breakfast and which will pamper your taste buds with their delicious taste.
Quiche with vegetables and ham
Do you know that perfect taste of local food? Well, this recipe will put it to the test, so we recommend you go to a local market for ingredients – the New Era Hotel kitchen is supplied only from local producers, too!
To prepare this dish you need 100g red bell pepper, 100g yellow bell pepper, 100g mushrooms, 100g zucchini, 200g ham (can be Prague ham, salami or bacon), 100g cheese, 8 whole eggs, 3 tbsp. of flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
Chop all the ingredients and put them in a bowl, then mix them with the eggs, flour and baking powder. Salt and pepper will be used to taste.
After the whole composition has been mixed, it is baked in various forms, such as a muffin tray or a cake tray and put in the oven for 45 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees Celsius.
At the end, the quiche is placed on a plate and seasoned with vegetable and other types of ham, according to everyone’s wishes.
Spinach and sweet cheese tart
This simple and tasty recipe can make your mornings much more pleasant when you feel the inviting smell coming from the oven.
For the dough you need 300g of flour, 130g of butter, 1 egg yolk, a pinch of salt and 30ml of warm water.
Knead the dough from flour, butter, egg, salt and water until smooth. The dough should be soft and set aside until the filling is ready.
Filling content: 100g sweet cheese, 200g fresh or frozen spinach, 100g cheese, 5 whole eggs, 1 bunch of dill, salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix the sweet cheese with the spinach, grated cheese, eggs and dill, and add salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the dough on a work surface until a thin sheet is formed, which is then placed in a tray, previously greased with oil and lined with flour. Then place the filling on the entire surface of the dough and put it in the oven for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
When ready, the tart is sliced and placed on plates with vegetables or cheeses and enjoyed with loved ones. For more inspiration, check out how we do the plating at New Era Hotel:
Tiramisu (without eggs) with blueberry jam
As any good cake is guaranteed to bring a smile on the lips of those who taste it, we offer you a light tiramisu recipe that will surely delight the whole family – just as it does with our clients!
To prepare it you need 250g of mascarpone, 250ml of liquid cream, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 400g of biscuits, 1-2 cups of coffee, blueberry jam and 30g of cocoa.
In a bowl, mix the cream with the sugar until the cream hardens, then add the mascarpone, while the composition is mixed with a palette and everything becomes a fine cream.
One by one, the biscuits are dipped in coffee, after which they are placed in various shapes (in a glass, or in various trays), then garnished with cream and jam, and at the end you can sprinkle cocoa on top.
